Privacy Policy

Effective 13 August 2026 · Last updated 13 August 2026

AllSermon (“AllSermon”, “we”, “us”) makes a mobile app that records sermons, transcribes them, and helps you keep notes and follow through on what you heard. This policy explains exactly what the app collects, where it goes, and how to get rid of it. It covers the AllSermon mobile app and this website.

The short version

  • Your recordings and notes are yours. We don’t sell them, and we don’t use them for advertising.
  • Audio you record is uploaded to private storage tied to your account, so your other devices can play it back.
  • Live captions work by streaming audio to our speech-to-text provider while you record.
  • Photos you attach to a note never leave your device.
  • There are no ads and no third-party advertising trackers in the app.
  • You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, at any time.

1. What we collect

To create your account, sign you in, and sync your library across devices Our authentication provider and our servers
Audio recordings
The sermon audio you choose to record
So you can replay a memo and so it can be transcribed Your device, plus a private cloud storage bucket scoped to your account
Transcripts and notes
Transcribed text, your typed notes, highlights, action points, promises
The core features of the app — search, review, reminders Your device (local database) and our servers
Photo notes
Photos you attach to a moment in a recording
To pin a slide or scripture to a point in the sermon Your device only. These are not uploaded to our servers.
Push notification token To tell you a memo is ready or a reminder is due — only if you allow notifications Our servers and the platform push service
Crash and error diagnostics To find and fix crashes Our error-monitoring provider
Account usage counts
Number of memos and notes, plan status
To apply free-tier limits and show your profile stats Our servers

Crash reports are configured to exclude personally identifying information, and we deliberately strip message content from diagnostic breadcrumbs so that note, transcript, and summary text is not captured in an error report.

2. What we do not collect

3. How we use your information

We use what we collect only to run the service:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to operate AllSermon. They process data only on our instructions and only for the purpose listed:

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our users, or the safety of others.

5. Permissions the app asks for

You can revoke any of these at any time in your device settings.

6. Where your data is stored and transferred

AllSermon is operated using cloud infrastructure and service providers that may be located in the United States and other countries. If you use the app from outside those countries, your information will be transferred and processed there, under contractual protections with our providers.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your recordings, transcripts, and notes for as long as your account is active, because they are the content of the product. When you delete your account, we delete the associated data from our systems and the app wipes its local copies from your device. Backups and provider-side logs may persist for a short period before rotating out.

8. Deleting your account and data

You can delete everything from inside the app:

This deletes your server-side account and content, and wipes on-device audio files, photo notes, and the local database. If you would rather ask us to do it, or you no longer have the app installed, see the account deletion page or email support@allsermon.app.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR in the UK and EEA, and under the CCPA/CPRA in California — you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

To exercise any of these, email support@allsermon.app. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children

AllSermon is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

Your audio is uploaded directly to private storage over an encrypted connection, and access to it is scoped to your account. Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Authentication tokens are held in the device’s secure storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your content and we will notify you as required by law if a breach affects your data.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will give notice in the app. Continuing to use AllSermon after a change means you accept the updated policy.
